Lobby for the Flamingo Beach Lotel which was based in Neukölln area in Berlin. Guests of the hotel, which in fact was a legalized squat, would pay a nominal fee for the rooms and in return were able to experience the possibility of spending a night inside a video installation, a deserted island, an all encompassing chessboard or to sleep in the color White.
The hotel closed in the summer of 2008 and the installation was dismantled and dispersed. The work was later recreated as a freestanding installation.
