This funeral urn was created specially for Basler Totentanz - an event dedicated to death, which takes place once every three years in Basel. This year it was made by an artist duo Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger. They set up a Death Fair with all kind of hilarious booths: You can place yourself in a coffin to see the radish grow from below, ask death a question and have a Schnaps while waiting for his answer, make an insurance that guarantees you to die for sure, dance a skeleton, get yourself some oversized bacterias, or an urn to get buried in. I was kindly invited to create one of the urns for them.
